WHY SHOULD I GIVE?

We believe one of the top competitors for our devotion to Jesus is money (Matthew 6:24). Giving allows us to demonstrate He is more important to us than material things.

We believe in generosity because we’ve been given more than we deserve, so when you’re trusting with your tithes and offerings we know that He will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10-12)

We believe followers of Jesus should be the most generous people (2 Corinthians 9:6) on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10).

WHAT IS GENEROSITY?

Generosity is giving what "you have purposed in your heart to give" back to God through Liberty Church. Giving is a principle that is taught throughout the entire Bible. When we give and are generous, we are expressing worship in a tangible way by putting God first in our lives.

Bringing our offerings and gifts is an opportunity for us to give God our thanks, show God we trust Him, and fight against greed in our hearts...all while allowing us to be a part of the most important work in life that is spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ!

We believe that God wants us to be generous. As individuals and as a church, it is our privilege to give generously in order to build God’s Kingdom.  When you sign up for our 90 Day Generosity challenge you are saying "I intend to give generously to Liberty Church over the next 90 days, as an exercise of Bighearted Sacrifice.  At the end of this 90 days, if I do not feel like my generosity has shown me just how faithful God is in HIS GENEROSITY, I can receive a refund of my donations from Liberty Church for those 90 DAYS."
